TASTING NOTES
Bright lime acidity balanced by orange liqueur, structured tequila, and the subtle caramel depth of demerara sugar. Crisp, savory, and refreshing, with a clean finish sharpened by salt.
The Margarita is about balance, not excess. When it works, nothing sticks out and nothing disappears.
Tequila provides earth and structure, whether you choose the clean bite of blanco or the softer warmth of reposado. Cointreau adds clarity and lift, framing the citrus rather than sweetening it. Fresh lime juice keeps the drink focused and alive.
Demerara syrup changes the center of gravity. Its deeper sugar notes add quiet weight and warmth, rounding the lime without flattening it. The sweetness reads as texture rather than sugar.
Salt matters here. Not as decoration, but as contrast. It sharpens the lime, amplifies the tequila, and pulls the whole drink into focus. This is not a frozen novelty or a sugar-forward distraction. It is precise, bracing, and grounded.
